Sad news from the media landscape today – Belo is shutting down its weekly newspaper, Quick. The newspaper has been a consistently good source for local music news, interviews and features – thanks in large part to the great Hunter Hauk and the paper’s editor, Rob Clark. Yours truly is especially sad to see it go, since I was part of the team that launched it back in 2003 during my Belo days. We here at Art&Seek are going to miss seeing it delivered to our mail room each Wednesday.
