DALLAS – The new Dallas television series is coming to town and residents can help show the world why there’s no better city to live, work or play in than Dallas, Texas. TNT is expected to begin production on the series later this year and is now looking for filming locations.
“Maybe your home showcases how some of us live in this diverse and fourth largest metropolitan region in the nation, “Dallas Film Commissioner Janis Burklund. “Or maybe you’d like to draw tourists to your property, or grow your business. Whatever the reason, this is a great opportunity to be seen by an international audience,” she said.
The Executive Producers of the new “Dallas” series have said, “We are so excited that we get to shoot Dallas in Dallas.” “The city has changed so much since the original series and we can’t wait to show our audience the fun, the culture, the architecture, the restaurants, the landscapes and the people that make Dallas such a vibrant and cinematic city.”
Burklund said writers are currently working on the first season’s episodes and will consider scenes set in locations throughout North Texas. To submit your property, please email [email protected] with “Dallas TV Series Locations” in the subject line. Be sure to include your phone number, email and street address, along with photos, a brief description of the property, and why you’d like to participate.
“We’ll pass the information along, and residents may soon find themselves talking to a representative of the show about how their property can play a part in shaping the world’s future view of Dallas,” she said.
