SEED, the annual event that makes Art Conspiracy possible, is coming up on July 15. And this year, get ready for a garden party!
Every year, a group of artists volunteer to make something out of the same particular object – a coffee can for example. And every year, these pieces are snatched up at an auction. Proceeds go toward throwing the annual Art Conspiracy hoopla. And proceeds for THAT go to an arts-related non profit. Ah, the circle of life. (This year’s beneficiary will be announced at SEED.)
The theme this time is lawn art. So expect gnomes, flamingos and all sorts of spiffy pieces to sit on and set off your grass. You can also expect musical guests: The Red 100’s, John Lefler and The Blurries will all perform. Wear your garden party finery and take a break from the festivities with a little croquet.
Sons of Hermann is the place. $10 is the cover. And you can get more details here or at Art Conspiracy.
