You’ve heard over the past few months about the 100+ bands that will perform during the 35 Conferette in March.  Now, you can finally start planning your venue hopping as the schedule has been released. Looking particularly strong are:

Thursday: OK Sweetheart,  Sarah Jaffe,  Secret Sisters and Mavis Staples on Main Stage #1

Friday: Hormones,  Leg Sweeper,  Record Hop and Japanther at Hailey’s

Saturday: Giggle Party,  Tidal Waves,  G Side,  Reggie Watts and Big Freedia on Main Stage #2

Sunday: Fate Lions,  Viva Voce,  The Beaten Sea and  Damien Jurado at Sweetwater.

But that’s just on first glance. The larger point is that this looks like a festival you’re going to want to bounce around instead of camping out in just one venue. Festival booking agent Natalie Davila told me last week that that is the point.

“This year it has much more of the ACL kinda vibe and less of the SXSW, where it’s so venue related. There’s gonna be much more outdoor programming,” she said. “You’re going to see a lot more just crowds of people on the square.”
