Human Rights Initiative of North Texas is calling for proposals for an “innovative, semi-permanent design” that will showcase the 55 foundations that have supported the organization during its first 10 years. Competition is open to new, emerging or established artists. Project budget is $5,000. The winner owns the rights to the design, can choose to help construct the project, will be a guest of honor at the unveiling, and, I’m sure, will receive all sorts of love from the folks at HRI.
More details here. Looking forward to seeing the winning design.
HRI provides legal services to people who’ve suffered human rights abuses in their countries and are seeking asylum. They also assist with other issues face, such as human trafficking and violence against women and children immigrants.
