GET COMFORTABLE: On Friday, we rounded up the local reviews of the Dallas Theater Center’s Trinity River Plays. The show is written by Dallas native Regina Taylor and follows a woman’s story over nearly two decades. A story of that scope takes time to tell – in this case, a whopping three hours and 20 minutes. And director Ethan McSweeny says he wouldn’t have it any other way. “It’s a little like buying a DVD set, when you dive in and watch a bunch of episodes in a row,” McSweeny tells dallasnews.com. “Over 18 years, you really get into the lives of these people – and they’re such wonderful characters.”

RIDGLEA THEATER FINDS A BUYER (MAYBE): Rumors have been swirling for what seems like forever now concerning the future of Fort Worth’s Ridglea Theater. Most of them point toward the historic venue being turned into a bank. But dfw.com reports that the theater may have found a buyer with an eye for renovating it. Fingers crossed. UPDATE: Preston Jones has updated his story to reflect that Dallas resident Jerry Shults is in fact buying the Ridglea with plans to renovate it and turn it into a historic landmark. Good news, indeed.

BRAS FOR A CAUSE: If you walk through the Texas Woman’s University Art Building, you might be surprised to see more than 70 bras pinned to clotheslines. But this isn’t just a bunch of students doing their laundry. Instead, the bras are all decorated for breast cancer awareness and will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
