I am here and ready for your love transmissions

  • Lucas

Yeah, the National is inoffensive, but not exciting. But thanks for playing it. Any Boredoms?

  • Sarah

Thanks for playing something off the Mix-Up. I don’t listen to a lot of instrumental stuff either, but when i do it either the Mix-Up or something by Explosions in the Sky!

  • Sarah

Oh also, I’m SOO glad Willy Mason is on your new this week list! Do you think you’re going to play something by him tonight? Maybe Oxygen? Or Where the Humans Eat?

Thanks for reading so closely to user comments!

  • Joseba

The National, I’ve heard that track a number of times on a different webstation. I thought it was a little too common place for this show. How ’bout some vintage Dan Hicks circa 1970s, Something off the “Last Train to Hicksville” would be nice.

  • Rich

    How about something by Edie?
And/or anything by Jean Michel Jarre.

  • paul slavens

I have not [played any boredoms
I think I checked em out and felt kinda the same way I do about the National, however, that just means I need to check em out again.
any specific songs that you think will tickle my fancy?

I am playing something off the Humans eat here record, I believe.

    J Paul:
I have been listening to the latest release, High Violet by The National, and really enjoying it. Like Joseba, was just thinking about Last Train to Hicksville, It’s Not My Time To Go, Dan Hicks. Also, a Texas thing, B.W. Stevenson, On My Own. He’s been gone 22 years now, still miss him. Used to see him play at the old Rubaiyat Club in Dallas. RIP Henyrk Gorecki.

    Listening via internet in Ruidoso.
