Americans for the Arts’ Year in Review for 2010 cites 40 of the best public artworks in the U. S. and Canada — and North Texas is represented by Deep Ellum’s Travelling Man sculptural installation by Brad Oldham and Brandon Oldenburg and, not far way, the gorgeous,  streamlined, art-deco-ish Fair Park Station, by Brad and Diana Goldberg. They are ranked with works by such major artists as Maya Lin (designer of the Vietnam War Memorial), Peter Shelton and Tony Oursler.  (h/t Unfair Park)
