Wow, what a weekend for music in Denton and a big week of music in Austin coming up, and its Spring Break!

Well, kick back, the weather is fine and I will spin some tunes to keep you engaged and entertained.

Have you heard of Shannon McNally? Incredible voice and great song writer. Latest cd is “Coldwater”. “Geronimo” is another one that is really great. Available at CD Baby. She is playing the Sons of Hermann Hall this Sat. 3/20. Thanks for the cool music!

Just got back from a two night run with Tea Leaf Green, they played Dallas 3/11 @ Granada, then I followed them to Austin for a Midnight post Citizen Cope Show @ Stubbs at the indoor show…if you haven’t experienced a TLG show, you are missing out! Play Let us Go by Tlg..or anything by them for that matter

Your playing last week of a Dean Martin song reminds me of the subtle sophistication and perhaps overlooked genius of the long-soldiering H Tim Sorea, particularly the noteworthy “No More, No More” (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00137WRXW/ref=dm_dp_trk7), from their mid-seventies apogee. Musically they occupy that turf somewhere between Mr. Martin and another group whose music you played last week – the Pixies.

Hey, Paul!
I heard you play the Hallelujah Courus a few minutes ago. There’s a parody of that song that I really like that was done by a man named Bob Rivers titled “The ‘What’s It To ‘Ya’ Chorus” from the album “I Am Santa Clause” . I just can’t resist singing this chorus every time I hear that. Why don’t you go check that out.
