Tucker’s Blues Club was the home of a weekend long benefit for Liz Mikel. You might remember that Liz lost her condo and all her personal belongings in a fire last week. Fortunately, Liz is lucky to have friends like Yolonda Williams and Dianne Tucker who jumped right into action by putting together 3-days of benefit shows.

Art&Seek was there on Saturday night. It was a wonderful night, full of great music, warm hospitality and a lot of love for Liz Mikel.

Also, the Dallas Theater Center is generously donating all the proceeds from the opening night of Give It Up! on Friday, January 15. It’s a “pay what you can” performance, beginning at 8 p.m. Liz is starring in the production.
