As we gear up for a special project at this year’s Art Conspiracy, Art&Seek HQ is beginning to resemble one of the artist studios Cindy has been documenting so diligently.

You probably know by now that 150 artists will begin making works tomorrow on an 18×18 piece of plywood. These works will be auctioned off at Art Conspiracy Saturday night.  Money raised will benefit Resolana.

This year, Art&Seek is going to add a little twist – everyone will have the opportunity to be a Con Artist. We’re setting up an art station at Art Conspiracy. So, in between the bands and the auctions, stop by and create a self portrait.  We’ll provide the materials. And we’ll take your mug shot with your masterpiece. All the works will be displayed on site in our Con Artist Gallery. And we’ll post a slideshow of some of our favorites from the photo booth next week.

A few tips if you’re attending on Saturday:

Dress warm: the warehouse is enclosed, there will be heat lamps, but if it’s a cold night, wear your mittens.

Check out the parking map: Parking at the warehouse is limited. But secure, protected parking is just two blocks away. Check the map on ArtCon’s site.

Come say hello: Jerome, Cindy, Stephen and I will all be there, as will videographer Ivey Suber. See you Saturday!
