Art Conspiracy turns five this year on Saturday, December 12th. In anticipation of this year’s extravaganza, we thought we’d revive the Art&Seek studio tour series and visit some of the artists participating in this year’s ArtCon.
We kicked things off with a visit to the Kettle Art Gallery owner, Frank Campagna’s studio. You can take a peek inside his home-studio here.
Our second trip was to the home (and studio) of photographer Jason Janik. Jason’s work has been featured locally in such publications as the Dallas Morning News, Quick, D Magazine, F!D Luxe, and nationally in Rolling Stone, Spin Magazine, The New York Times, USA Today and American Profile.
Jason’s biggest love is photographing bands and musicians, either while they are performing live on stage, or being photographed in Jason’s studio. You can check out a lot of these great photos by clicking here.
I always really enjoy visiting Jason’s studio, built on to the back of his home. Sounds of playful happy children fill the air, along with the smell of something comforting baking in the oven. I always experience an overwhelming sense of welcome and family, which to me, is a very good thing.
