Art studios all day long.  Free parking.  Free after party at CorinthPark.  What’s not to love about Dallas’ seemingly sketchiest part of town?  ‘The Cedars’ as it is known was historically one of the city’s first elegant neighborhoods.  Named after the forest of cedar and oak trees that lined its streets, the Cedars became home to some of Dallas’ prominent leaders in the early years.  Time ticked on and the area became a mecca of warehouses and industry. Over the last decade, it’s become a mecca of another kind – for artists, thinkers and creative people of all stripes.
