FALL HAS FALLEN: Get ready for the fall arts previews to start rolling in. Dallasnews.com has posted its exhaustive preview, with the season broken down into eight categories. Theaterjones.com writes about a slew of premieres coming to area stages.  And just this morning, the Art&Seek Fall Preview posted. We tried to be a little more choosy – narrowing ours down to a dozen or so must-see events. But it wasn’t easy – there were hundreds to pick from. ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE: A few weeks ago, The New York Times wrote about accusations that Robert Capa’s famous Falling Soldier photo from the Spanish Civil War was staged. The paper then followed up on the story in its Week in Review section with a study of other possibly faked photos. So it should come as no surprise that the Amon Carter’s extensive photography collection is home to a few pictures that aren’t exactly what they seem. The museum’s blog has even picked out a few, letting us know how they know they’re fakes. It seems some of those early-day photographers weren’t as slick as they thought they were.
