If you picked up a copy of this month’s Dallas Morning News style mag FD Luxe, then you’ve probably spotted Art&Seek follower Willard Spiegelman in its annual HOT issue on page 21 as the “hot” senior scholar (artist and recent SMU grad Amy Revier is featured as hot junior scholar).

Jerome spotlighted the SMU professor on Think TV earlier this summer as he promoted his new book, Seven Pleasures: Essays on Ordinary Happiness.

So what does he think about being listed as one of the summer’s “steamiest” people?

He emailed a few observations:

1. “They’ve got to be kidding!”

2. “They have finally come to their senses and recognized my true worth!”

3. “It just goes to show that if you stick around long enough good things will happen.”
