For lunch today, I’ll be happily filling in once again for Think host Krys Boyd, who’s on vacation. I’ll be talking with Paul Theroux, author of The Great Railway Bazaar, Saint Jack, The Old Patagonian Express and more than 40 other novels, travel accounts, children’s books and short-story collections.
Theroux will be in town this weekend to give Friday’s opening lecture for the Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Conference, presented by the University of North Texas’ graduate journalism program. Other speakers at the conference include Ira Glass from This American Life and humorist Roy Blount, Jr.
