Just a quick post and a plug for Sarah Jaffe, a Denton gal who gives Texas music a good name. Her music is wonderful, she’s wonderful, and I’m quite sure her (FREE) show tonight will be wonderful.

If you aren’t familiar with Sarah Jaffe, go ahead and watch the following video. I visited Sarah in Denton almost a year ago with the intention of making a little documentary about my favorite local star. Yes, there was the ulterior motive of having a free and private concert in the park. But I got to spend an afternoon hearing tales about her musical childhood and about how journalists used to confuse her with Sara Jaffe. Check it out:
