This time last month, Stephen wrote about the Catholic Foundation Plaza Artists Competition in the morning round-up. Here’s a big update: the $1,000 prize money  is now $2,500. Plus, you have more time to design it, since the deadline has been extended to September 4, 2009.

Entries do not require a religious theme, but still need to be appropriate for a public space. Professional North Texas artists are invited to submit designs for the outdoor wall that I consider the Dallas Arts District’s best kept secret.
