So we were heading out of a meeting, and before I got back to the headphones and the audio editing, I checked my e-mail for any entries that had come in for our Design a T-Shirt for Art&Seek Contest. And there it was. Pretty plain and simple, just a white shirt with our logo across the chest and some sort of black abstract design next to it running vertically down the shirt.
Then I enlarged the picture and started flapping my hands and saying unmanly things like “Awwwwwwww, gee.” Other people used post-structuralist art-critic terms like “Isn’tsheprecious?”
So now you know what this means. To win this competition, you’re going to have to edge out a pretty little girl in a black leotard and a mask, sitting in a chair.
Think you’re talented enough and tough enough? Well, all I can say is: She’s pretending to be a kitten.
You throw a little contest, and you learn just how ruthless some people can be.
