So while Betsy was at And/Or Gallery on Saturday night checking out Austin artist Chad Hopper’s mixed media 80s-tinged show, yours truly was next door at the House of Dang prom party slow dancing to Chris de Burgh with my date. It was fun watching partygoers armed with spiked purple mystery punch milling back and forth between the art gallery reception and the makeshift dance floor in the backyard.

We spied some decked out scenesters, artists, stylists and even an Arts Magnet student or two.
