YOUTUBE, THE REMIX: This is one of the coolest YouTube videos I’ve seen in a while – a musical mashup of other online videos. Called the Thru You project, it’s the creation of Ophir Kutiel, who goes by Kutiman online. Thanks to Andrew Taylor’s The Artful Manager blog for the tip.

TEXAS BALLET THEATER LOSES DANCER: Andre Silva, one of Texas Ballet Theater’s top dancers, is leaving the company to join Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. The Brazilian dancer will finish out this season’s performances before heading north of the border. Andrew Marton over at dfw.com has all the details.

FORT WORTH BITS: This Week in the Arts has its latest podcast up, a chat with Brian Dippie. He’s the editor of The 100 Best Illustrated Letters of Charles M. Russell, a book about the cowboy artist with close ties to the Amon Carter Museum. … The Modern Blog has posted its newest Find Me contest. … Fortworthology has a snappy new design.

  • The illustrations on the letters of Charles M. Russell are my favorite works of his. I salute the author for doing this.
