Dallas music blog Gorilla vs. Bear has a funny video interview with former Polyphonic Spree member Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent. Her debut album, Marry Me, was one of the best reviewed records of 2007.

The Brooklyn-based artist talks with Australian Web site Shoot the Player about performing the night before at the Sydney Festival to an audience made up primarily of music fans over 70. That segues into a discussion of U.S. retirees who eat early dinners at cafeterias like Luby’s.

Annie also performs a piano version of “Marry Me.”
