Fort Worth Opera is seeking temporary season Box Office Associates. Fort Worth Opera is one of the oldest opera companies in the nation having produced opera for over 60 years. In 2007 Fort Worth Opera went to a festival format and has produced such innovative operas as FRAU MARGOT, ANGELS IN AMERICA, OF MICE AND MEN and in 2009 will produce CARMEN, CINDERELLA (La Cenerentola) and DEAD MAN WALKING.

This seasonal position will run from March 23 through May 10, 2009. FWOpera Box Office Associates are responsible for providing superior customer service and efficient selling and processing of subscription and single tickets through the Patron Edge computer ticketing system. Associates will also participate in an incentive sales program with a grand prize at the end of season. Associates are also responsible for supporting the Box Office Manager, adhering to FWOpera and box office policies and procedures.

Requirements

– Previous customer service experience required

– Previous call center experience a plus

– Familiarity with Windows PCs required

– Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of products a plus

– Ability to work with minimal supervision

– Experience using Patron Edge Software a plus
