The Big Bopper died alongside Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens in a plane crash 50 years ago. His body was exhumed in 2007, placed in a new casket, and reburied in Beaumont. His son is in possession of the original coffin and doesn’t know what to do with it. He is considering donating it to a rock music-friendly museum, but his short list of other possibilities includes:

1. Crush it

2. Drop it in the ocean

3. Sell it on ebay

Texas — never boring but kind of creepy.
