It’s a new year, and resolutions have been made. Maybe 2009 is the year to tighten your belts on spending? Maybe 2009 is the year to make belts? The New Year is always a great time to think about how we live life, and think about ways to implement change. Take advantage of the places that Art + Seek has visited and create something! Many of the classes I have attended have new schedules up. Click on the following to learn more.

Beading Dreams
Creative Arts Center Dallas
Dallas Museum of Art
The Woolie Ewe
Cake Carousel
Latino Cultural Center
Splendor in the Grass
Paper Source (Dallas)
Make Studio and Shop
Paper Nerds

Also, check out the classes your local community college offers. Dallas, Collin and Tarrant County Community Colleges each have excellent classes at a great price. The classes are taught by professionals and a great way to introduce creative people and resources in your community.

These are just a few ideas to get those creative juices flowing, but North Texas is BIG, and there is there is much more out there. I invite you to share what’s going on in your neighborhood. Take every day to live life creatively and bring your creations and experiences to the Art + Seek Flickr page. Make 2009 a creative year. Let’s inspire each other!

Next up: I’ll show you how.
