If you’ve never been to the Cedars neighborhood just south of downtown Dallas, Saturday offers the perfect excuse to branch out. A dozen artists will participate in a group show called Base, curated by Art&Seek guest blogger Sarah Jane Semrad as part of the Cedars Open Studios Tour. Everything from painting and sculpture to fashion and mixed media will be exhibited. Those participating include: Ben Hancock (with collaborators from Tribal), Kate Nelson, Zachary Broadhurst, Ronald Radwanski, Luke Harnden, Brent Kollock, Jonathan Brooks, Andrew Bayer, Doug Voison, Scott Horn, Nicole Cullum Horn and Sarah Jane Semrad)
The event will unfold in two parts at the Corinth Park Warehouse. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the public can tour the group show, and from 7 p.m. to midnight, an after party goes down with live music, complementary drinks from Ketel One, Crown Royal and Budweiser and more opportunities to take in the art on display.
And the best part about it? It’s all F-R-E-E Free. See you there.
