Hollywood’s most bankable star will mingle with the masses Tuesday night when Will Smith drops in for the Dallas premiere of his new film, Seven Pounds.

The flash bulbs start popping at 6 p.m. at the Cinemark 17 (635 and Webb Chapel) when Smith will make a red-carpet stroll into the theater. Getting into the screening is first come, first served, so I would recommend lining up, oh, around now if you hope to see the movie and possibly grab a hand shake from its star. The goal of the night is to collect donations for the North Texas Food Bank, so your ticket into the show will be one of the following food items: canned ham, canned vegetables, canned fruit, stuffing mix, cornbread mix, puddings and Pumpkin pie filling.

The screening itself will take place at 7, with Mr. Smith probably doing a short introduction to it. Good luck if you decide to go, and if you elbow your way close to the red carpet, by all means upload your photos onto our Flickr page.

Strange that we haven’t heard much about this movie…I wonder if Mr. Smith’s over-the-top promotion of it reflects its quality at all?

Do you not watch tv. They have been talking about it for months.
