If you haven’t visited “Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” at the Dallas Museum of Art yet (or you did and you want to learn more about the Boy King), this weekend features a pair of opportunities. Tonight, Dr. Emily Teeter from the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago will give a free lecture titled “Dying in Ancient Egypt.” Then on Saturday during an all-day event, Dr. Teeter will discuss “Architecture of Ancient Egypt.” Both events take place in the Fondren Science Building on the SMU campus.
