Dr. Oliver Sacks, a neurologist who has studied the topic extensively, is the author of the book Musicophilia: Tales of Music and the Brain. in a review of the book, The Washington Post describes Dr. Sacks as, “the ideal exponent of the view that responsiveness to music is intrinsic to our makeup.” The author joined Krys Boyd for a recent episode of Think to discuss the subject:
