Degas, Renoir, Van Gogh, Monet — Ninety two Impressionist and Post-Impressionist pieces from The Chicago Art Institute have found a temporary home at the Kimbell Art Museum. It’s the first time the Chicago museum has allowed so many masterworks to take a road trip. The Kimbell’s Malcolm Warner tells Krys Boyd how it happened and why Impressionism is still so beloved. He also offers some tips on how to approach the paintings in this Scene segment of Think, originally broadcast on KERA TV Aug. 15. The exhibition runs through Nov. 2.
