If you’re looking for something creative and “cool” to do and want to get a head start on those Christmas gifts, head out to Purple Glaze, Dallas’ own paint-your-own-pottery studio. That’s exactly what I did this past weekend with my friends. It was fun and easy, and come this Friday, my dog will have a new dish! Purple Glaze has plenty of options, from dinnerware to decorative items. Simply choose a piece, pick your colors and paint your pottery; the staff at Purple Glaze will take care of the rest. With the freedom to paint or write whatever you want, hand-painted pottery is much more personal than a store-bought item.
