David Byrne took this photo, of a data archive building north of Dallas, and others and posted his impressions of a recent visit here on his blog. Byrne was in town working on a collaboration with David Hanson of Hanson Robotics, destined for an art exhibition in Madrid.
About that photo: Byrne finds it “beautiful in a strange way. It’s like being in a new world where humans are merely visitors. We work to secure the data and take care of it, like worker bees for machines.”
