Are you an artist? Do you like chainsaws? It’s your lucky day.

LaReunion is a nifty outfit creating a place for a rotating group of artists to live  and w0rk on its 35 acres in Oak Cliff.  It’s “giving” dead, dying and non-native trees that need to be thinned from  its property to artists willing to “translate the natural elements into an art form.”  More  details  here. You don’t really have to use a chainsaw but you do have to get going – plans are due to on Jan. 5.

If you want to see how it all turns out, there will be an open house at the site on Feb.  2.
