To my mind, that’s worth a listen, not to mention having the pure joy of engaging with a writer about language and ideas.

Thanks to Thea Temple and her team at The Writer’s Garret, notable authors come in to be interviewed before an audience. In this case, former KERA staffers Catherine Cuellar and Kim Malcolm will interview Gordon, who has just published a memoir about her mom, Circling My Mother. Afterward there’s a chance for the audience to ask questions, and it’s worth doing.

KERA has broadcast The Writers Studio since its first season, and will broadcast the newest season starting Friday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. with feaured writer Scott Turow. We’ll have the whole season highlighted soon on kera.org.
