Fort Worth Community Arts Center


The Fort Worth Community Arts Center's mission is to provide accessible and affordable exhibition, performance, workshop, classroom, and office space to artists and arts organizations in the region, and to serve the general public by presenting the work of contemporary visual and performing artists in a user-friendly environment that is available for event and meeting rentals.

At the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, we celebrate our community's diversity through the arts and showcase the talents of regional artists. Our 77,000 square foot facility offers performance, exhibition spaces and event spaces for rent.

Designed for adults and children alike, the Center offers a place for the celebration and creation of ideas including:

  • Theater

  • Studio art

  • Music

  • Opera

  • Poetry

    Monday - Friday: 9 am - 5 pm

    Saturday: 10 am - 5 pm

    Sunday: Closed

    Admission
    Galleries are free and open to the public.

    For the Scott Theater and Hardy and Betty Theater, admission varies for each show.

    Directions & Parking
    At 1300 Gendy Street, the FWCAC is located in the heart of Fort Worth's Cultural District. Parking is located across the street from the Arts Center in the northwest corner of the Will Rogers Coliseum parking lot. From I-30, take the University Street exit. Turn left onto University, and left onto Lancaster Avenue. Turn left onto Gendy Street.

    Other Information
    At the beginning of every month the galleries are host to new exhibitions, with gallery receptions on the first or second Friday of the month, 6-9 p.m.
