Brookhaven College School of the Arts

The Art Department in the Brookhaven College School of the Arts is dedicated to providing the finest educational environment for art students seeking transfer to four-year institutions, preparing for graduate school, gaining additional professional training and continuing life-long learning.

With state-of-the-art classrooms, labs and a museum quality gallery, the Brookhaven College art department is a dynamic center for the study of art, providing outstanding foundation-level preparation in drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, art appreciation and art history. These beginning classes impart the skills and concepts necessary for advancement into sophomore-level courses in ceramics, computer graphics, drawing, figure studies, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, small metals, and watercolor.
