Museum of the American Railroad


The Museum of the American Railroad in Fair Park houses an extensive collection of vintage rail equipment including passenger cars, steam, diesel & electric locomotives and more. In addition to our collection, the museum also hosts family & arts events such as Day Out with Thomas, Kids Train Festival, Whistle Fair, Dinner in the Diner and more!

With one of the top displays of rolling stock in the nation, the Museum of the American Railroad's mission is to educated the public about railroad history through preservation of railway artifacts and use of interpretive exhibits.



Hours
Wednesday - Sunday, 10 am - 7 pm and every day during the State Fair.

Admission
$5 for adults & $2.50 for children. Admission prices may change during special events. Call ahead or check our website for further information.
