Southern Methodist University: Meadows School of the Arts - Division of Art
The Division of Art at SMU's Meadows School of the Arts offers a professional focus in six areas of study--painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography and ceramics--leading to the B.F.A. or M.F.A. degrees. The Division features a variety of public exhibitions at the Pollock Gallery, located in the Hughes-Trigg Student Center, which showcase works from different artists, time periods and cultures. The Division also sponsors visiting artist lectures throughout the school year, most of which take place in the Dr. Bob Smith Auditorium of the Meadows Museum and are open to the public.
