University of North Texas - Art Galleries


The University of North Texas Art Galleries support the educational mission of the university, enrich the aesthetic environment of the community and serve as a cultural resource for the public at large. Through their focus on curatorial projects involving vanguard contemporary art, the galleries challenge and promote the current discourse surrounding living artists and their works.

Directions & Parking
The UNT Art Gallery is located in the Art Building with the College of Visual Arts and Design. Entrances are on the west side of the building. From Dallas: I-35 E to Denton, exit North Texas Blvd; or Dallas North Tollway, exit Hwy 380 W to Denton From Fort Worth: I-35 W to Denton, exit Bonnie Brae Visitors may obtain a free parking pass at the information booth on Chestnut St. at Avenue C in the center of campus. Metered parking is available in the lot behind the art building with entrances on W Mulberry and Welch Streets. Please see the UNT website for additional maps and directions: www.unt.edu

Other Information
In addition to the UNT Art Gallery's 12-month exhibition and program schedule, the UNT Galleries include three student spaces that feature works by undergraduate and graduate students in the Academic Programs at the College of Visual Arts and Design at UNT. Exhibitions rotate weekly. Please see the gallery website for additional information and hours.
