Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum


Located in the historical 1896 Courthouse-on-the-Square, the museum houses exhibits related to Denton County including photographs of Denton communities, Historic Hispanic Families and Historic African American Families of Denton County, farm and ranching artifacts, and special collections including Southwest American Indian and Denton County pottery, American pressed glass, weaponry and Pecan Art. Genealogical and research information including family histories, Denton County photographs, and cemetery records are available. Tours and Traveling Museum outreach program may be scheduled. Museum: Monday - Friday, 10-4:30; Saturday, 11-3.
Research and Genealogical Materials, Monday-Friday, 8-5.

Admission
Free except for organized group tours.
Cost for tours: $1 per person (including all three Denton County Museums--Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum, Bayless-Selby House Museum, Denton County African American Museum)
