Dallas Public Library - Grauwyler Park Branch

Located west of the Love Field Airport, the Grauwyler Park Branch was opened in Spring, 2007. As one of the Dallas Public Library's newest branches, the library offers magnificent views of Grauwyler Park and includes many energy saving and environmentally friendly features. The 12,500 foot facility provides 18 public computers, Wi-Fi access and ample meeting space. The auditorium is named in honor of Florence Jeannette Coe Lee, a community member who was instrumental in petitioning City Hall to have the library built. The auditorium is graced with the mural, Common Grounds, by noted local artist Art Garcia. The colorful artwork immerses guests in the history of the Grauwyler Park community beginning with the homestead built by John and Emma Grauwyler in 1884. The library conducts regular story times for children, after-school activities, computer classes in both English and Spanish and English classes
