PERMANENT EXHIBITS: 7th Floor

FIRST FOLIO Mr. William Shakespeares Comedies, Histories, & Tragedies (often called the First Folio) was printed in 1623. Given to the library in 1986 by the Dallas Shakespeare Club, this important book marks the first complete printing of Shakespeare's plays. It is on permanent display thanks to the Dallas Shakespeare Club who provided a very special room for it.

DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE This pivotal document, printed on July 4, 1776, is on permanent display in the Declaration of Independence Room on the 7th floor.

Directions & Parking
The downtown J. Erik Jonsson Central Library is located at the corner of Young and Ervay Streets, across from City Hall. The entrance to the underground parking garage is located on the Wood Street side of the building.
