DeSoto Arts Commission

Mission:

The DeSoto Arts Commission provides the citizens of DeSoto with opportunities for cultural enrichment through the arts.

Vision:

The vision of the Arts Commission is for DeSoto to become the arts and cultural entertainment Mecca of the Best Southwest Region.

History:

The primary function of the DeSoto Arts Commission is to manage the City of DeSoto Arts Grants Program. The Arts Grant Program's role is to provide financial assistance to non-profit arts organizations in the encouragement, promotion, improvement, and application of the arts. The DeSoto Arts Commission also acts as a presenter and organizes special performances in music, dance, theatrical productions, comedy and more.
