The Free Man is Deep Ellum's New Cajun Bar and Venue.

The priority of The Free Man is to serve delicious Cajun inspired food that will bring people into Deep Ellum from all over Dallas, while at the same time hitting the mark as a Music Venue.

We want people to trust that when they come down to The Free Man, they are going to have a good time and a unique lunch or dinner experience.

Seven nights a week we will have live jazz performing from 7 - 9:30 pm. Come in after work and unwind.... for real.

Directions & Parking
Going south on Central, take the left lane exit to Good-Lattimer. Turn left from Good-Lattimer onto Commerce (one-way east) and park on either side in the first block. The Free Man will be on your right, the south side of the street. Parking meters are active during evening hours. We have a small parking lot across the street, but often it is often full, there are plenty of paid parking slots available. From the West, exit I-30 onto South Central Expressway, going north. Turn right on Commerce Street. The Free Man is just past Good-Lattimer, on the right. Parking meters are active during evening hours.
