Sherman Jazz Museum


The Sherman Jazz Museum has a mission of jazz education and preservation of our American musical art form by exhibiting a unique collection of jazz LPs, videos, music playback machines, and jazz memorabilia.

The Sherman Jazz Museum centers around an impressive exhibit featuring the fantastic collection of the Maynard Ferguson estate memorabilia. It is housed in 1924 former Masonic Lodge.



Hours
Open Saturdays, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. Closed during the months of January and August, as well as some major holidays. Please check the website for additional necessary closings.

No admission charge; donations are appreciated.

Directions & Parking
In Sherman, exit at Lamar St. off Hwy. 75, go east one block past the town square. Museum is on the left. A parking is available on the east side of the museum.

Other Information
The historic building is ADA exempt and, unfortunately, is not wheelchair accessible.
