ensemble75 was founded in the summer of 2010 when a group of young professional musicians met at Steinway Hall Dallas with a goal in mind: to create a playground and laboratory where local emerging classical musicians could collaborate, hone, and share their skills.
Named after the highway which connects all of the musicians, ensemble75 became a forum where artistic curiosity and subsequent exploration results in an oasis of familiar works and hidden gems of the chamber music repertoire, made readily available to the north texas community.
Although the performances are of the highest calibre, they are all presented free of charge to the public, so that everyone is afforded the opportunity to witness an increasingly rare occurrence: the return of chamber music to its origins – friends making music together, and new friendships made through music.
Chamber music program presented one Sunday evening a month. All concerts held at Steinway Hall Dallas, 5301 North Central Expressway (75 and McCommas Blvd.)
AdmissionAlthough the performances are of the highest calibre, they are all presented free of charge but donations of any kind are accepted.
