Antique Alley Texas and Twenty Five Miles of Sales

Antique Alley Texas spans the historic communities of Cleburne, Grandview and Maypearl via FM 4 (S) to FM 916. This show is unique because of the miles and miles of shows and sales organized by independent landowners, small businesses and individual entrepreneurs. You may stumble upon a beautiful ranch or quaint farm where the landowner is hosting an antique show with specialty dealers coming from all over the United States to sell their wares, or you may find a place where they've just cleaned out Grandpa's barn! There are fundraisers for local churches and schools, live entertainment and something fun for the entire family! Be sure to stop by the smaller historic downtowns of Grandview and Maypearl where the streets will be lined with vendors, musical entertainment and festival style foods. On the other end of the trail is Cleburne, the county seat of Johnson County. There you will find various sales scattered through out the community.

The one thing that makes Antique Alley Texas stand out, our culture! The families participating are five, six - even seven generation Texans. Historically, our community has been comprised primarily of conservative farmers and ranchers. It is not uncommon to visit a local family and see a sideboard or china cabinet that has been handed down over generations. A common exclamation in the local cafe is: "they just don't make things to last like they used to!" Translation? There are treasures to be found right here! Lots of folks decide to participate in the show by hosting their own yard and barn sales.

Scenic adventure filled shopping is the name of the game here where you can enjoy hunting for that "one of a kind" item you've always been looking for. Great food, good fun and a wonderful way to spend a weekend! Antique Alley Texas occurs twice per year on the third Friday, Saturday & Sunday each April and September. Enjoy our comprehensive online shopping guide filled with all of the information you need to get the most out of this unique shopping experience!

Antique Alley Texas is a "Rain or Shine" event! The vendor fees collected advertise each show - so if Mother Nature brings us rain, then you get out your mud boots and rain slicker! Remember when we were kids playing in the rain and mud? Well, be a kid again when the moment warrants it! Be safe; if it's lightening, duck indoors until that is over. Vendors will uncover their tables immediately when the rain stops. In the mean-time, browse indoors and eat alot! Have fun - life is not a "dress rehearsal" - this is it!
