Active Life

ACTIVE Life, formerly Youth InterACTIVE, is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas. We fuel the national ACTIVE Life Movement, which drives demand for healthy, active lifestyles and makes these lifestyles more accessible.

At ACTIVE Life, we believe that the obesity epidemic is the symptom of a broken culture - a culture which places low value on healthy lifestyles. The good news is that this critical situation represents a unique opportunity for all sectors of society to come together to create an active American culture. We know from America's history that the best way to positively change culture is through a coordinated, collaborative social movement. As such, our approach combines social marketing, lifestyle marketing and social movement techniques and theories with evidence-based public health and health education strategies.
