Farmers Branch - Carrollton Art Association (FBCAA)

The Farmers Branch Carrollton Art Association was founded in 1972.  As a non-profit organization, it promotes art and art appreciation in Farmers Branch, Carrollton, and the Dallas, Ft. Worth area.

FBCAA  maintains original exhibits by active members (juried and non-juried), hosts workshops with prominent artists, promotes Painting of the Month among members and sponsors an annual art show for CFBISD high school students, which includes a scholarship.

Art club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month, August – May (excluding December) in the Craft Room of the Farmer’s Branch Senior Center, 14055 Dennis Lane, Farmers Branch, TX 75234 near Valwood.  They begin at 9 a.m.  and end with a demonstration by the workshop artist from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Workshops are held the same day from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., and are led by prominent artists in the area. Meetings are free and open to the public.  Workshops carry a fee.
