Arlington Goodtimes Chorus

Few things are more enjoyable than the sound of men's voices in song. Continuing our tradition of entertaining audiences since 1962, the Goodtimes Chorus is ideal for your event. Whatever your venue or theme, we can tailor a performance just for you. You may prefer our formal outfits or perhaps costumes appropriate for your event.

Through the years the chorus has presented songs ranging from patriotic to movie themes – from barbershop standards to modern ballads. The songs we sing are ones you would like your family to hear. We sing songs about romantic love, singing, dancing, friendship, nostalgia, rivers, roses and such.
Whether you want to be entertained or just to set a mood, the Goodtimes Chorus can get it done for you. From a single quartet in a cozy setting to the full chorus in all of nature's grand outdoors or anything in between, the Goodtimes Chorus can fill the bill.

Contact us today to discuss the schedule and other requirements for your special occasion!

Current Chorus Information: The full chorus is about 50 men. Smaller groups are available. Special consideration is available for non-profit organizations. The Goodtimes Chorus is proud to be a member chorus of the Barbershop Harmony Society, a.k.a. the Society for the Preservation & Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America, Inc.

Other Information
The Arlington Goodtimes Chorus (GTC) is a Men's Barbershop Chorus based in Arlington, a chapter of The Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly SPEBSQSA) in the highly competitive Southwest District of Champions. We've been around for many years, spreading four part harmony and good times in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
We have won many awards through the years, and we pride ourselves on improving our chorus each year. It's both lots of fun and lots of hard work, as we strive to be the best we can be. Some of our most recent awards:
District Plateau AA Champion 2006 and 2007
District Most Improved Chorus 2007
Northwest Division Plateau AA Champion 2004
Northwest Division Most Improved Chorus 2004
District Most Improved Chorus 2003
Northwest Division 2002 Plateau AA Champion
We welcome men who would like to sing. It is not necessary to have a wonderful voice (although that would be nice) or to have years of choral experience. You should be enthusiastic and able to carry a tune. We are fortunate to have a director and music team who all bring a great sense of humor, energy and knowledge to every rehearsal.
